What are Humans in Magic?

Humans are one of Magic's largest and most heavily supported creature types. Human decks commonly play inexpensive creatures, then use typal bonuses and disruptive utility creatures to turn an ordinary-looking crowd into an efficient fighting force.

Cavern of Souls can make Human spells difficult to counter, while Mayor of Avabruck and Coppercoat Vanguard strengthen the tribe. Five-color Human decks can draw from an enormous toolbox of specialized creatures.
