What are ETB effects in Magic?

ETB effects are abilities that trigger when a permanent enters the battlefield. Decks built around them deliberately choose creatures and other permanents that immediately provide value, making them excellent targets for blink, reanimation, and copying effects.

Panharmonicon can cause many artifact and creature ETB abilities to trigger an additional time, while Yarok, the Desecrated does the same across your permanents. Teleportation Circle can then blink useful permanents every turn to start the process again.
