Artifacts represent magical objects and machines, and they form one of Magic's core card types. Most are colorless, which means any deck can run them, but the type shows up in many forms: creatures, lands, Equipment, Vehicles, and tokens like Treasures, Clues, and Food.
Etherium Sculptor makes each artifact cheaper, and Sai, Master Thopterist rewards every one you cast with a flying Thopter. Urza, Lord High Artificer takes things further, turning each artifact into a source of blue mana while adding a Construct that grows with your board. Treasure and Clue tokens count toward all of these synergies too.
