An all-spells deck fills its nonland slots almost entirely with instants and sorceries, skipping creatures and other permanents. Without a board to attack with, these decks win through storm/cascade finishers, alternate win conditions, or direct damage. The tradeoff is less repeatable value, so card draw and rituals help keep your engine running.
