Job select is an ability found on Equipment from Final Fantasy. When Equipment with job select enters, it creates a 1/1 colorless Hero creature token and then attaches itself to that token.
Paladin's Arms, Samurai's Katana, and other job Equipment effectively arrive with their own creature ready to carry them. Equipment, token, and enter-the-battlefield synergies can all take advantage of the mechanic.
