Pauper decks

What is the Pauper format in Magic?

Pauper is a 60-card Constructed format where cards must have received a common-rarity printing in an eligible physical or Magic Online release. Once a card qualifies via being printed at common rarity, other rarity versions of that same card can also be used.

Pauper uses the typical four-copy deckbuilding rules and an optional 15-card sideboard. Despite its common-only restriction, the format draws from decades of Magic sets and supports a surprisingly powerful card pool with its own banned list.
