Constructs are a creature type strongly associated with artifact. Construct decks consequently overlap heavily with artifact strategies, using artifact synergies, counters, tokens, and scalable creatures to build increasingly threatening boards.

Hangarback Walker leaves behind a flock of Thopters when it dies, while Steel Overseer can steadily grow an artifact-creature board. Cards such as Urza, Lord High Artificer provide still more reasons to surround Constructs with other artifacts.
