The Ring, not to be confused with The One Ring or My Precious, is an emblem-like designation from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth that gains four abilities as the Ring tempts you. Each time you're tempted, you also choose one creature you control to become your Ring-bearer.
Nazgûl receives +1/+1 counters as the Ring tempts you, while Frodo, Sauron's Bane can turn repeated temptation into an alternate win condition. Evasive or saboteur creatures make particularly effective Ring-bearers.
