Elves are one of Magic's oldest and most heavily supported creature types. Elf decks typically combine cheap creatures with extraordinary mana production, allowing them to flood the battlefield before turning a seemingly harmless woodland gathering into a lethal army.

Heritage Druid and Nettle Sentinel can generate explosive starts, Wirewood Symbiote repeatedly reuses useful Elf abilities, and Craterhoof Behemoth provides one of the most recognizable ways to convert a crowded battlefield into lethal combat damage.
