Stoneblade is a midrange or control archetype built around Stoneforge Mystic and a small toolbox of powerful Equipment. Stoneforge finds exactly the weapon needed while allowing it to enter the battlefield efficiently.
Kaldra Compleat provides a massive threat from one equipment slot, while cards such as True-Name Nemesis historically make excellent carriers. Counterspells and removal protect the Equipment plan without requiring the deck to flood itself with artifacts.
