What is ninjutsu in Magic?

Ninjutsu is an activated ability used from your hand. By paying the ninjutsu cost and returning an unblocked attacker you control to your hand, you put the Ninja onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, replacing the original unblocked attacker.

Moon-Circuit Hacker provides inexpensive card selection, while Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow adds a Commander-specific version called commander ninjutsu. The newer sneak mechanic explores similar territory but uses revised rules and can appear beyond Ninjas.
