Oil counters are counters heavily featured in Phyrexia: All Will Be One. They have no inherent rules effect; instead, individual cards use them as fuel, track their growth, or receive stronger abilities as more oil accumulates.
Urabrask's Forge gains oil every turn to create increasingly large attackers, while Churning Reservoir creates and redistributes oil. Proliferate can add another oil counter to every applicable permanent simultaneously.
