What are Phyrexians in Magic?

• Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines
• Sheoldred, the Apocalypse
• Atraxa, Grand Unifier

Phyrexians are one of Magic's largest villainous creature groups, spanning all five colors and numerous creature types. Their strategies include poison, proliferate, artifacts, sacrifice, -1/-1 counters, and the mechanical corruption of other beings.

Yawgmoth, Thran Physician represents Phyrexia's original master, while cards such as Skrelv's Hive produce new Phyrexian Mites every turn. The Praetors provide five particularly powerful legendary options for typal or thematic builds.
