Pegasi are a predominantly white flying creature type. They have relatively little dedicated typal support, so Pegasus decks often rely on token production, flying payoffs, and generic creature-type bonuses.
Storm Herd can create an enormous number of Pegasi based on your life total, while Sacred Mesa provides repeatable token production. Cards such as Sephara, Sky's Blade can reward the resulting flock simply for being flyers.
