Templar Knight allows a deck to contain any number of copies, even ignoring Commander's normal singleton restriction. Five attacking Templar Knights can tap together to search your library for a legendary artifact and put it directly onto the battlefield.

Knight support such as Knight Exemplar can strengthen the army, while legendary artifacts provide the payoff package. The One Ring is considerably easier to find when five Templars charging into battle know exactly where to look for it.
