Planechase is a casual Magic variant that adds an oversized planar deck representing different locations across the Multiverse. Players planeswalk between those cards, with each plane changing the rules of the game while it remains face-up.
Rolling the planar die can trigger a plane's chaos ability or move the game somewhere new. Cards such as Fractured Powerstone interact directly with that die, while newer Planechase Commander releases provide complete decks designed for the variant.
