What are Moonfolk in Magic?

Moonfolk are a blue-aligned creature type from Kamigawa, traditionally represented by the Soratami. Many older Moonfolk return lands you control to your hand as part of their activated abilities.

Patron of the Moon can put those lands back onto the battlefield, while Moonfolk Offering and cards such as Trade Routes support repeated land movement. Modern Tamiyo cards broaden the creature type beyond its original land-bouncing identity.
