Bards are Magic's musicians, poets, and storytellers. The type arrived with Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, inspired by the Dungeons & Dragons class, and a few older cards like Yisan, the Wanderer Bard and Elvish Bard picked it up through Oracle updates.
Chong and Lily, Nomads, is one of the few commanders that cares about Bards directly, rewarding their attacks by pumping your creatures or advancing your Sagas. Firbolg Flutist steals an opponent's creature for a turn and copies it with myriad. One trivial note for deck builders: despite the name, Bard, King of Dale isn't actually a Bard (that's just his name because he's cool like that).
