What are Goats in Magic?

Goats are a creature type with limited direct typal support but an impressive talent for appearing in strange token strategies. Dedicated Goat decks tend to combine token production with generic creature-type payoffs.

Springjack Pasture produces Goats and can later sacrifice them for life and mana, while Trading Post can repeatedly create Goat tokens. Oft-Nabbed Goat provides a fun “steaming bag” trick that bounces between players and acts as a political card advantage piece.
