What does Swamps Matter mean in Magic?
Swamps Matter decks use cards that care about the number of Swamps you control. Mostly black, these cards turn a land base full of Swamps into removal, life drain, and huge creatures.
Cabal Coffers produces mana for each Swamp you control, and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth makes every land a Swamp. Consuming Corruption and Tendrils of Corruption scale their damage with your Swamp count, while Korlash, Heir to Blackblade and Nightmare grow with it.
