{"ops":[{"insert":"This deck needs to cast its commander as quickly as possible, so players should mulligan with a focus on getting Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain in play by turn 3 or earlier.\nOnce in play, Jhoira will draw cards whenever the pilot casts an historic card. Since the deck has a substantial amount of cheap or free artifacts (which count as \"historic\"), cards will be drawn at a significant rate. There are several cost reducers which will reduce the already cheap artifacts to zero mana, further promoting card draw. Eventually, Urza, Lord High Artificer will become available, enabling the haste-speed tapping of all artifacts play for mana production. Once the synergy of 1) artifacts being discounted, 2) artifacts tapping for mana and 3) artifacts drawing cards when cast combines, it becomes inevitable that the entire deck can be played out quickly (within one or two turns). With the entire deck at the pilot's disposal, it becomes inevitable that they can close out the game by attacking with constructs (power x/x = to the number of artifacts they have in play), as well as an amassment of smaller creatures.\n\nThe deckles provided is technically ranked as bracket three. It often times plays at a bracket four capacity. This deck could be upgraded to bracket four by adding additional control cards (Primarily counter spells) and staples like Rhystic Study and the legal Moxen. I have been theory-crafting a version of this deck that may be bracket 5 playable, including the cEDH staple combo of Underworld Breach, Brain Freeze (and/or Grinding Station), and Lion's Eye Diamond (and/or Lotus Petal). If this deck would be altered to bracket five playable, consideration must be afforded to additional zero-cost artifacts, so the deck doesn't need to rely on playing cost-reducers to continue looping artifact casting with card draw. Additionally, consideration for tax pieces like Defense Grid, Sphere of Resistance, Thorn of the Amethyst, Soulless Jailer, Grafdigger's Cage, etc. (ensure you have a sacrifice or bounce outlet so this deck's own combos don't get held up by its own star pieces!).\n\nIf anybody wants to discuss the deck and its performance, options, etc., feel free to comment. I'd be especially interested in discussing its bracket five potential.\n"}]}
