Commander
Myrkul, Lord of Bones
As long as your life total is less than or equal to half your starting life total, Myrkul has indestructible.
Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies, you may exile it. If you do, create a token that's a copy of that card, except it's an enchantment and loses all other card types.

Draw a card if an opponent has cast a blue or black spell this turn. Spells you control can't be countered this turn. You and permanents you control gain hexproof from blue and from black until end of turn. (You and they can't be the targets of blue or black spells or abilities your opponents control.)

Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"I just wanted to play a giant skeleton god, and my LGS gave me myrkul.\nI've spent the last four years building this deck and no others, finding what makes myrkul his best boney self.\n\nThe predominant theme is oddball combos unique to myrkul, the easiest and most notable being the classic self killing infinite three: \""},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"devoted druid\", \"cinderhaze wretch\", \"barrenton medic\""},{"insert":". However splashy these three are, they aren't the most interesting.\nFor instance, "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"ondu spiritdancer\""},{"insert":" will see itself enter as a token enchantment on death, this will continuously resolve to an infinite limit if left alone to end of turn, or an arbitrarily large number of resolutions if you decide to terminate and use its effect once on another enchantment etb the same turn. The result of this is that any subsequent turn will allow any enchantment (or dead creature->token enchantment via myrkul) to have infinite token copies. this syncros well with "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"Jaheira\""},{"insert":", providing you infinite sources of infinite green mana. furthermore, "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"setessan champion\""},{"insert":" will provide infinite card draw via these infinite enchant mechanisms. and "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"sphere of safety\""},{"insert":" will of course make creature attacks cost prohibitive, even without infinite enchants on the field due to the enchant-heavy nature of the deck, however at full steam, only opponents with equivalently infinite sources of infinite mana could possibly pay the cost to attack.\n\nThere are sac outlets, counterspells, and tutors to facilitate the operation of the combos which make the deck work, and plenty of pillowforting play pieces.\nthe wincon is infinite mana "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"exsanguinate\""},{"insert":", however I included "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"austere command\""},{"insert":" as a merciful off-button if you decide you've locked the game up too much and want to commit sepuku about it.\n\n\nAll this said, I want to outline my personal favorite combo. "},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"So lets bring the originals back!"},{"insert":"\n\t\t\tMake sure "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"elixir\""},{"insert":" is in hand, whether by draw, or tutoring, it should be easy to acomplish.\n\t\t\tActivate "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"mirror of fate\""},{"insert":", up to seven exiled cards are now your library, and the old library goes into exile.\n\t\t\tPlay/trigger "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"Elixir\""},{"insert":", recovering "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"mirror\" "},{"insert":"to library, the next time you see it, you can pick and choose a seven card library from among the 31 sorceries and instants in exile.\n\nAs far as I can tell, this is the ultimate protective move. As long as you can ensure "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"mirror\""},{"insert":" and "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"elixir\"/\"buried ruin\""},{"insert":" are not in exile, you can effectively hide your library in exile, and play from a curated \"live\" library of only seven cards, including all creatures exiled by myrkul, and every other non-permanent in the deck. creature deaths should proc infinite card draw via "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"setessan champion\""},{"insert":", "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"sign in blood\""},{"insert":" can proc full library draw. effectively at this point you can treat exile as a private shrouded library for you to pick and choose spells from.\n\nThis is certainly a winmore combo, by the time it becomes possible, you've already won, exsanguinate is always an option before this convoluted exile combo is, and its far easier. Its for this reason that I included "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"austere command\""},{"insert":" as an off button. I kinda figured having a mercy switch is a power move after an unecessarily elaborate and game breaking play like this.\n"}]}
