Even when I make stronger decks I tend to leave out some pieces that could make the deck unassailable. \n\nMy goal when playing magic is to have a good time. If I can win on the way to that, then that's just a bonus. If I make a really nasty deck it's usually by accident, I never set out with the intention to dominate the game.
