{"ops":[{"insert":"I really wanted to make an outlaw deck that felt like it was recruiting a gang. \n\nWhen you build that way, it can be a little more janky than \"I want a this kind of deck and I went looking for a good commander for it\". There are kind of 4 small themes at work here: treasure tokens (Academy Manufactor, Anointed Procession, Mondrak), aristocrats/drain (Zulaport Cutthroat, Kambal, Mirkwood Bats), theft/Tergrid, and graveyard reanimation. As I was putting it together, the goal was a bracket 3 deck but I kept running into combos/infinites and just gave up. In its current form, it's mostly an okay bracket 4 but it's not hardcore. You could play this against a table of strong 3s and weak 4s and be pretty happy.\n\nWith all of the caveats out of the way, this deck is about stealing and exploiting creatures from your opponents. There are sac outlets in case you get something trash, there are a lot of ways to make treasure, there are some saltier cards I've wanted to try but didn't want to include in a more pod-friendly deck. Conspiracy and Maskwood Nexus can bring everything together to trigger Olivia but it will work without them. There's a small equipment package - you can do a mini Voltron with Olivia or Tergrid (or even one of the other cards). I put two tutors in mostly so that if it warrants more than one playtesting or turns out to be fun, you can cherry pick a strategy for the game. There are ways to pull value from other graveyards but you can also use them on yourself.\n\nAt the end of the day, you will probably pull an interesting assortment of cards every game and it won't be a boring time. \n\nDo not buy this deck lol. It's like 3-4 viable decks of wildly different power frankensteined together. MTGprint or other options are a wonderful way to have fun with this without paying for it or regretting it.\n\nGood luck!
