{"ops":[{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"\"Game over, man!\""},{"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"DECK STATS:"},{"insert":"\n4 Games Played; 2W/0D/2L, 0 Last Place Finishes\nDeck KO's: 7\n\nA Sliver deck that focuses on copies and token generation, potentially burning players and buffing your Slivers for each Token created. I'd personally list this as a higher end Bracket 2 deck, as there are no infinite combos or major win-con strategies in this deck outside of filling the field with as many Slivers as you can to burn and/or overwhelm the table. However, there are several very strong combos and instant-win strategies that could easily be put into this deck, which would enable it to be considered upgraded Bracket 3 or a Bracket 4.\n\nFor your Commander, while you totally could choose a different Legendary Sliver for the role, I prefer this one due to her ability to negate the Legendary rule and bring Slivers out of the Graveyard to cause even more ETB triggers with your Enchantments and copies using those discarded Slivers. She suits the deck well for what it's doing, and compliments many of those ETB enchantments that give you those copies to swarm the field. I've found that most Slivers can be pretty interchangeable to suit your needs, but for a deck like this, the Grave Mother seems pretty necessary. The only other Commanders I'd consider for something like this are the Sliver Queen or Rukarumal, but I wouldn't want to drop over $300 on an old card like that or lose Sliver synergy for an overall weaker Token Generation effect. The First Sliver would also be an option, but again, I do feel like the Grave Mother just works better here.\n\nSlivers themselves can be pretty interchangeable due to their synergy with each other. These are the ones I felt worked the easiest together with the Mana Pool I have, although other Slivers could also be equally useful. There's a great deal of flexibility in your Creatures, so pick what you think will work best! Some pretty cool techs with your copies come from the Slivers who give counters to other Slivers, making some of those +1/+0 Slivers far more useful than they seem due to potentially getting several of them out at once! Because of your Commander, it also allows you to copy your Legendary Slivers without any issues, making board wipes almost necessary for the other players to deal with them consistently. Most Slivers are weak on their own in terms of their stats; I don't use the Trample Slivers because of this. Instead, Slivers that allow you to get free damage through no-block abilities, Deathtouch with First Strike, Double Strike or even just Flying can really help get them their Combat Damage triggers. Infect is also a valid option, although I couldn't quite fit the Infect Sliver due to a lack of space and ultimately, didn't think it was super necessary. I try to stay away from Slivers who require damage to be taken, simply because most of your Slivers won't have a lot of HP to really take hits consistently. Another option are Slivers like Acidic Sliver, who allow you to sacrifice your Slivers for some targeted damage. Then, simply have your Commander bring them back! There are many directions you could take this deck through a bit of tweaking.\n\nOne of your more important tricks will come from the Artifact, Isochron Scepter. This is a potential combo piece with several potential cards, but more importantly, it allows you to keep casting the same Instant spell from its own Exile space. When this happens, you have several very good options to use. Dawn's Truce, Heroic Intervention or Counterspell are all very good options here. Or, if you're feeling a bit bold, I'd also say that Double Major is another very fun choice for this artifact!\n\nFor counters to this deck, ones that invest heavily into board wipes, targeted exile and spell-slinger types will probably be your biggest enemy. Grave Exile can also put a damper on things, as your Commander needs your Slivers in the Grave to be creating her own Tokens. While you have some means of protection, it might not be enough to deal with any more than three or four board wipes across a match. Blight/Proliferate could be problematic early on for Slivers, but your Commander can get those early Slivers out of the grave and back on the field pretty easily as long as they aren't exiled before that time.\n\nOverall, this is a very simple deck in concept and in practice. While I'd certainly put it on an above average Bracket 2 deck, it is susceptible to burning out after enough board wipes or a bad counterspell. You may be getting targeted heavier with this deck due to the very fast Token generation, burning damage and natural synergy that Slivers possess, so be prepared to deal with many destruction spells and wipes headed your way!\n"}]}
