Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"This deck very obviously plays a bunch of sagas and enchantress effects to generate value throughout the course of the game, while draining enemies and gaining card draw if the commander happens to be on the field when the sagas finish their final chapters. The main win condition of this deck is to drain opponents to death while fronting the enchantress theme -- this is typically done by means of Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability to turn my life gain into my opponents' life loss. For example, with that ability fully resolved and Narci on the field, if I conclude a 5 CMC saga I will make my opponents all lose 5 life, I will gain 5 life, and because I gained that much life with the Guildmage's ability this means that the opponents will lose an additional 5 life. Do this when two or more sagas conclude at the same time and you effectively halve your opponents' life totals. Bonus points if you are able to swing with the creature's you've got on field and also have enough mana to activate Vault of the Archangel.\n\nOne downside of the deck is that, while not necessarily a priority #1 target, it tends to lean on the commander a bit too much. You'll still get a decent amount of value just from playing enchantress alone, but getting out an early safety net through Robe of Stars or finding other means of protection are important for maximizing the deck's game plan.\n\nWhile it takes a bit of time to get the game plan rolling and remembering to trigger each of your sagas individually can be a pain, the deck is very satisfying to pilot. It has the perfect set of colors for reanimation packages should things go awry (Eerie Ultimatum, Anikthea, etc), and there always seems to be a healthy supply of ramp & card draw (even if it is more non-traditional).\n\nNOTE: There are no infinite combos in this deck that I am aware of. This deck is meant to be played at or around Bracket Level 3.\n"}]}
