I specifically grouped the spells that fulfill the condition of \"all colors\" together as that is the other thing that Jenson cares greatly about, so it is worth noting that those cards also fit well into some other categories too "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"(including Ramp, Draw and Recursion)"},{"insert":". Since Jenson triggers whenever certain spells are "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"cast"},{"insert":" it is also a very good idea to play other cards which help to cast more spells or that also trigger when a spell is cast. \n\nThere aren't a ton 5 color spells here as adding too many can lend to bogging the deck down and it really is best to play higher quality spells here. "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Leyline of the Guildpact"}},{"insert":" is nearly useless here as color fixing is not a problem, it only makes permanents become all colors so it will not let Jenson create Angel tokens with every spell because that is a cast trigger and we aren't doing any kind of enchantments matter theme here. "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Iridian Maelstrom"}},{"insert":" is also a pretty bad boardwipe that is not one sided at all when it will kill Jenson and the angel that he makes for casting it not to mention anything else that we control that is not all colors. The entire deck is also built to overlap on Selesnya colors including the mana base as that is all that is needed to cast Jenson and so the whole deck runs that much smoother with Jenson easily able to be cast on turn 2 just about every game. This unfortunately excludes options that are strictly within the colors of Grixis but who needs them anyway? Adding some limitations to the build makes for more concentrated gameplay and a fun challenge.
