Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"Spell-Flinger"},{"attributes":{"header":2},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nDo you enjoy having the largest creature on the battlefield? If yes, then this might be the deck for you. This is a deck that looks to use fling effects to convert Thromak's power into life ending damage. The goal is simple, make a bunch of tokens for Thromak to devour to then have an absurdly large creature. Once this has been established, any of the fling effects can send that damage directly to someone's face or use one of the combat trick's like Berserk to trample over anyone's board state. My take on this deck was to be spell slinger to differentiate from the usual Gruul style decks, which also provided an opportunity to lean on instant/sorcery doublers to make fling effects hit multiple players. This can be crucial because there’s a limited amount of times that Thromak can be reasonably cast, and rebuilding can be a drag. In a world of new commanders with paragraphs of text, I really appreciate a commander with a single sentence ability that is powerful due to the nuances it provides.\n\n[Note: Deck best viewed with 'grouped by' ---> 'multiple categories'] \n \n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Stats (Updated June 2026)"},{"attributes":{"header":3},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"2026: Games Won- 2\n\t\t\t\tGames Played- 7\n\t\t\t\tWin Percentage- 29%\n\t\t\t\tAvg.
