{"ops":[{"insert":"If anyone sends removal your way to deal with Odric, it's usually a waste of time... it's the least inherently threatening commander at most tables. Token fuel is drawn into by turn 3. Once you can swing with the shared keywords, it's apparent the game is over within two, three turns if unanswered. Everything will have flying, vigilance, and lifelink. On "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"each "},{"insert":"combat. You are running mutually assured destruction (MAD) with the amount of wipes, and you also have a few orbital deterrence systems. It's a very political deck, and a lot if it is unspoken. Mono white in a nutshell. I routinely end games with 40+ life when other players take priority and I am able to swing with how quickly you can populate tokens. Mana flooding is negated by the token fuel a vast majority of the time and the nature of mono-white itself. Sometimes you will brick but the deck is clearly optimized to the point where you've got at least 4-5 turns with most casual pods. I'd even go as far to say it's a little too much at times—and even losing with it is commonly tantamount to handing out Pyrrhic victories. \n\nIt's a rather consistent deck because it does not try to do much outside of pillowing up, creating tokens, and flying over blockers. Goldfish it a few times, it may surprise you. \n\nThe deck has a higher ceiling with even more goodstuff. I've worked on this deck since Kaladesh block. I am generally what one would call \"a kitchen table\" EDH player, so a deck this expensive has taken years to assemble. I am not sure if Odric is a good enough card inherently to build like this—but I assure you it absolutely rips off turn 5-6 if your meta plays steady up to that point. \n\n"}]}
