The concept originated from a red/blue Minotaur deck I built long before Commander was popular. Since my kids enjoy Commander, I decided to convert the deck. While it has evolved quite a bit from that original red/blue version, it continues to be a lot of fun.\n\nThis deck focuses on a Rakdos theme that rewards aggressive attacks, creature deaths, recursion, and sacrificing creatures. One particular trick is when I play a card like HAUNTED VOYAGE and either bring SETHRON back into play or have him already on the battlefield, all my returning Minotaurs trigger another 2/3 Minotaur. This allows me to absorb casualties while continually coming back for more.\n\nMy draw options emphasize sacrifices with cards like DESCENDANTS' FURY and IDOL OF OBLIVION. These cards help me replace my Minotaurs with others, creating additional triggers for SETHRON. I also included SPECIES SPECIALIST and GARNA, BLOODFIST OF THE KELD, which provide extra card draw triggers when my creatures die.\n\nTo improve my mana curve, I employed cheaper creature pump cards like SHARED ANIMOSITY and HAUNTED ONE. Additionally, I incorporated INVASION PLANS to force strategic blocks. I added WARSTORM SURGE to take advantage of my tokens entering the battlefield or to make PATRIARCH'S BIDDING a devastating play. It also gives me an option to remove threats from the field.\n\nFor removal, I found I needed more destructive options beyond just spot removal. I included cards like LAST ONE STANDING and MANDATE OF ABANDON to wipe the board. Since I can keep bringing creatures back, I can recover quickly, sometimes even in a single turn, depending on what I have. These options are cheap enough to fit within my mana curve. I also included WILD MAGIC SURGE and CHAOS WARP for flexible threat removal, as the deck struggles with enchantments.\n\nFor reanimation, I chose affordable options like GRAVEPURGE and FOREVER YOUNG, as well as late-game choices like HAUNTED VOYAGE. GARNA, OF THE REDFLAME can also bring back creatures after an aggressive but bloody attack.\n\nI included some tribal pump effects with METALLIC MIMIC, RAGEBLOOD SHAMAN, and similar cards. Additionally, RAGE MONGER and DIDGERIDOO help make my Minotaurs cheaper. I also have DEATHBELLOW WAR CRY to bring in a wave of Minotaurs all at once, which is essential for a Minotaur deck.\n\nI have some menace synergy since SETHRON grants Minotaurs menace. Cards like FRILLSCAPE MENTOR and LABYRINTH RAPTOR enhance this threat. Several of my \"allied\" creatures also possess menace, allowing them to benefit as well.\n\nTo speed up my mana curve, I’m using cards like SEETHING SONG and IRENCRAG FEAT. I also have mana rocks that cost two mana to assist during the earlier stages of the game when I have fewer options. This strategy helps get my deck up to speed quickly. I don’t require many mana rocks, as I can do plenty once I have five mana; I just need my commander out early to get things rolling.\n\nThis deck embodies the recklessly aggressive and relentless spirit that is characteristic of a Rakdos color combination. It is destructive both on the battlefield and through spells. It rewards relentless aggression and doesn’t mind a few casualties along the way, allowing you to create a \"herd\" as more Minotaurs step in to replace the fallen. Added synergies with menace and lord effects help build an overwhelming and menacing force. With spells like DEATHBELLOW WAR CRY or HAUNTED VOYAGE, it can also create a sudden stampede of overwhelming power.
