{"ops":[{"insert":"Uncle Istvan is a mono black human from the dark age of Dominaria. He lived secluded in the woods and eventually became insane, deciding to hunt and kill any who neared him as the closest thing he could get to company. \nGoing trick or treating to his home would go something like this: Firstly, he would of course hand out treats such as a Jinxed Chocker or Trojan Horse. Once the feeling of receiving a gift wore off, you might decide to take a closer inspection, slowly realizing the gifts are not treats at all (more like tricks). Looking up from your candy basket you see the same tree you swear you've walked by three times already. Deciding to turn back for a little while brings you to the realization that its getting awfully dark and you may just be lost. You then hear a loud shriek from the thicket, not thinking you sprint in the other direction finally coming to a clearing. Standing in the center is the same man who gave you the terrible candy wielding a massive ax. Before you can even think of running you have already taken 21 commander damage.\n\nTricks and treats: The deck gives many tiny creature to your opponents. Hopefully to be forcibly sacrificed in order to trigger our commander.\n\nKing Sized candy bar: The decks focus is to make Istvan extremely large and then give him away to our opponents with cards like Fateful Handoff or Assault Suit. We can then use cards like Vow of Malice and Torment to force Itsvan against our other opponents. This synergies well with Itsvans ability forcing him to attack. Making sure points of damage are never missed. \n\nStatic Treats: Cards like Gonti and Gix help the whole table by using their static abilities to give card draw, these abilities help point damage away from us and to our opponents with incentive. We also have a few cards that add the Monarch mechanic to the game for more universal card draw.\n\nHorror theme: The deck includes many slasher-movie like axes and cards from The Dark set. Adding to the spooky feel of playing Istvan.\n\nMy Favorite card, Season of the Witch: Another card from The Dark Season of the Witch forces opponents to aways swing out. This combined with our static effects to point damage a away from us can put us in a healthy position. Also causing lots of death triggers for our commander.\n"}]}
