{"ops":[{"insert":"This is for September 2026 contest. And this time, I made a deck for those Myrs who work in the Quiet Furnace. \n\nFirst things first. Honestly, the whole deck can function without its commander. But when [[Urabrask the Hidden]] plays, it gains some sort of protection on opponents' creature (especially with a flash.) Meanwhile, you can build what you need to build on the board faster. He accelerate the production. We all know, artifact decks are slower because it needs to set up. So having those is not really that essential but you felt kinda... relieved.\n\nMany of us, \"haste\" usually associate with creature immediately attacks. But here, I highlighted the use of haste on immediately tapping of ability of creatures. It's under the rule 702.10c (for those who don't know it yet.)\n\nExample. Just imagine here buddy, [[Goblin Engineer]] and [[Goblin Welder]] have a haste. [[Kuldotha Forgemaster]] immediately dropping [[Portal to Phyrexia]] in turn 5. Or maybe, grab [[Myr Incubator]] if you want a YOLO moment then activate it later with those Myr tokens with haste. Actually, the tokens that just newly made gets immediate pressure is more common from the other decks. But artifact creatures like [[Millikin]] and any other creatures create immediate values is what I take advantage here. You don't need to pray and crossing your fingers when you cast them and wish your opponents don't attack them until the next turn.\n\nThat's why my depiction of Urabrask is like, a leader that feared by its enemies. But he pressures his underlings to work to get the things done right away before reaching its deadline. And when it said deadline, it means NOW. Even if you die after that. A white collar dude who manage the factory and repeatedly violating workplace safety regulations as many as he can. Reminds you your boss at your job, right?\n\nBy the way, the identity of it is mono red counter artifact engine with recursions and weird proliferate. And yeah. Tokens.\n\nOkay. This is the gameplan.\n\nStage 1: Smash essential artifacts, cheap counters and value pieces like [[Weatherlight Compleated]] or [[Everflowing Chalice]], and artifacts that can be sacrificial in the later turns in the battlefield.\n\nStage 2: Assemble layering engines like recursions, tokens engines, counter engines, tutors like [[Gamble]] , [[Kuldotha Forgemaster]] , etc.\n\nAt this point, you're asking, \"How can I make every piece improve any other piece?\" \n\nStage 3: Upgrade everything. Upgrade your board presence, your threat, etc, via proliferate and oil or charge counters.\n\nStage 4: Dominate the board exponentially. \n\nLike:\n\nRoute 1: [[Urabrask's Forge.]]\n\nRoute 2: [[Portal to Phyrexia]]\n\nRoute 3: [[All will be one]]\n\nRoute 4: Swarm of tokens. Like [[Myr Battlesphere]] , [[Churning Reservoir]] , [[Phyrexian Ironworks]] , [[Myr Incubator]] , etc with or without [[Molten Gatekeeper]].\n\nRoute 5: [[Urabrask the Hidden]] or maybe a merely [[Phyrexian Goblin]] or [[Myr]] holding [[Tarrian's Soulcleaver]].\n\nQ and A \n\n1. Isn't it unfocused?\n\nActually, no. If you look at these cards' interactions, they're interconnected. Almost all of them do multiple jobs. And every subgenre, subsystem, or whatever you called it, they're just overlapping towards into a single goal and answers the same question. \"How do I increase output?\" \n\nArtifacts: Produce recourses.\nRecursions: Recover resources.\nTokens: Increase resources' quantity.\nProliferate and counters: Increase resources' quality.\n\nSee? Even though this thing has many moving parts, they're all pulling in the same direction. And if I remove at least one of its subsystem, the other gets weaker. They're the pillars of this factory, I must say.\n\n2. Isn't this also a bit of voltron?\n\nWell, to make story long, to have a centralised bigger attacker was not the part of the plan. My plan is only intended to run the factory smoother. It just happened that when I look [[Tarrian's Soulcleaver]] then I just realised:\n\n- Yeah! Right? Isn't this deck sacrifice artifacts and creatures like a regular Tuesday? And what if I cast Portal while it's already equipped?\n\n- Wait. Isn't that thing can also activate [[All will be One]] for every scraps and deaths?\n\n- And isn't it can also benefit on proliferate?\n\nAnd with that, because the holder of it typically have a tendency to become bigger, I just partner it with [[Sword of Truth and Justice]] for a lil bit of protection and of course, to proliferate.\n\nTLDR: No.\n\n3. So... What's with these Myr creatures about? Are they part of your main plan?\n\nYes, of course. All of them has a contribution on it. And they're nicely wide spread into every different sector of the factory.\n\nFor instance:\n\n[[Coretapper]] and [[Myr Scrappling]] are great body to sacrifice.\n\n[[Myr Welder]] is just a wild Pokemon.\n\n[[Shimmer Myr]] is a good alternative of [[Vedalken Orrery]] (which is not the part of 99.)\n\n[[Myr Retriever]] for recursion.\n\n[[Myr Landshaper]] is like a match made in heaven removal for a mono red artifact deck.\n\nHow about [[Genesis Chamber]], [[Myr Incubator]], [[Myr Turbine]], and [[Myr Battlesphere]]? Although, almost all of them are not really a Myr but they are Myr producers. They are perfect for a shell that can constantly use of haste and always hungry to make a sacrifice something.\n\nThey're the backbone of the factory. The workforce. Helping the grand ambition of their... uh... l̶e̶s̶s̶ ̶e̶v̶i̶l̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶q̶u̶e̶r̶o̶r̶ ̶s̶l̶a̶s̶h̶ leader.\n\nIn the lore, many believed there are Myrs who are willing to work for a red faction than the other factions because Urabrask isn't that sadistic to them compared from the other four praetors. Really. I could see it why.\n\nMyrs in White faction territory became mindlessly compleated.\nBlue's became experimentation.\nBlack's became... a gladiator? Or maybe they buried under the dirtslide.\nGreen's became prey.\nBut in red's still remained workers but in the Quiet Furnace.\n\nUrabrask is particularly special because he allowed his faction to coexist with native Mirrans like [[Koth, Fire of Resistance]] rather than killing them or force them to convert. So why not those Myrs, right?\n\nThis is just full of speculation but I can't let go in my head that this is really possible.\n\nAnd yes. It is a themed deck. And if you know the lore of The Great Work especially of its philosophy, you know.\n"}]}

Upgrade your board presence, your threat, etc, via proliferate and oil or charge counters.\n\nStage 4: Dominate the board exponentially. \n\nLike:\n\nRoute 1: [[Urabrask's Forge.]]\n\nRoute 2: [[Portal to Phyrexia]]\n\nRoute 3: [[All will be one]]\n\nRoute 4: Swarm of tokens. Like [[Myr Battlesphere]] , [[Churning Reservoir]] , [[Phyrexian Ironworks]] , [[Myr Incubator]] , etc with or without [[Molten Gatekeeper]].\n\nRoute 5: [[Urabrask the Hidden]] or maybe a merely [[Phyrexian Goblin]] or [[Myr]] holding [[Tarrian's Soulcleaver]].\n\nQ and A \n\n1. Isn't it unfocused?\n\nActually, no. If you look at these cards' interactions, they're interconnected. Almost all of them do multiple jobs. And every subgenre, subsystem, or whatever you called it, they're just overlapping towards into a single goal and answers the same question. \"How do I increase output?\" \n\nArtifacts: Produce recourses.\nRecursions: Recover resources.\nTokens: Increase resources' quantity.\nProliferate and counters: Increase resources' quality.\n\nSee? Even though this thing has many moving parts, they're all pulling in the same direction. And if I remove at least one of its subsystem, the other gets weaker. They're the pillars of this factory, I must say.\n\n2. Isn't this also a bit of voltron?\n\nWell, to make story long, to have a centralised bigger attacker was not the part of the plan. My plan is only intended to run the factory smoother. It just happened that when I look [[Tarrian's Soulcleaver]] then I just realised:\n\n- Yeah! Right? Isn't this deck sacrifice artifacts and creatures like a regular Tuesday? And what if I cast Portal while it's already equipped?\n\n- Wait. Isn't that thing can also activate [[All will be One]] for every scraps and deaths?\n\n- And isn't it can also benefit on proliferate?\n\nAnd with that, because the holder of it typically have a tendency to become bigger, I just partner it with [[Sword of Truth and Justice]] for a lil bit of protection and of course, to proliferate.\n\nTLDR: No.\n\n3. So... What's with these Myr creatures about? Are they part of your main plan?\n\nYes, of course. All of them has a contribution on it. And they're nicely wide spread into every different sector of the factory.\n\nFor instance:\n\n[[Coretapper]] and [[Myr Scrappling]] are great body to sacrifice.\n\n[[Myr Welder]] is just a wild Pokemon.\n\n[[Shimmer Myr]] is a good alternative of [[Vedalken Orrery]] (which is not the part of 99.)\n\n[[Myr Retriever]] for recursion.\n\n[[Myr Landshaper]] is like a match made in heaven removal for a mono red artifact deck.\n\nHow about [[Genesis Chamber]], [[Myr Incubator]], [[Myr Turbine]], and [[Myr Battlesphere]]? Although, almost all of them are not really a Myr but they are Myr producers. They are perfect for a shell that can constantly use of haste and always hungry to make a sacrifice something.\n\nThey're the backbone of the factory. The workforce. Helping the grand ambition of their... uh... l̶e̶s̶s̶ ̶e̶v̶i̶l̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶q̶u̶e̶r̶o̶r̶ ̶s̶l̶a̶s̶h̶ leader.\n\nIn the lore, many believed there are Myrs who are willing to work for a red faction than the other factions because Urabrask isn't that sadistic to them compared from the other four praetors. Really. I could see it why.\n\nMyrs in White faction territory became mindlessly compleated.\nBlue's became experimentation.\nBlack's became... a gladiator? Or maybe they buried under the dirtslide.\nGreen's became prey.\nBut in red's still remained workers but in the Quiet Furnace.\n\nUrabrask is particularly special because he allowed his faction to coexist with native Mirrans like [[Koth, Fire of Resistance]] rather than killing them or force them to convert. So why not those Myrs, right?\n\nThis is just full of speculation but I can't let go in my head that this is really possible.\n\nAnd yes. It is a themed deck. And if you know the lore of The Great Work especially of its philosophy, you know.\n"}]}
