Led by the most unlikeliest (and unluckiest) of heroes, this deck embodies the transformation from cursed 'zero' to empowered 'hero'.\n\nRather than building this as a curse deck (i.e. focusing on his low points in the hero's journey) this deck celebrates his resilience. Thematically this means ditching those pesky curses that got him his name and focusing on the \"Heroic\" mechanic instead. The goal is to be an enchantress-style deck in (mostly) mono-red, taking advantage of the powerful heroic abilities found on many of red's staples, such as "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Cleon, Merry Champion"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Labyrinth Champion"}},{"insert":" . While these tokens are temporary, they still count towards the Aura count for our commander's ability.\n\nSpeaking of our commander, the cornerstone of this deck is his second loyalty ability, allowing us to refill our hand for cheap. The game plan is always to empty our hand as fast as possible with cheap CMC auras that can attach to our creatures, but also those that attach on our lands (ramp pieces such as "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Shimmerwilds Growth"}},{"insert":" and "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Fertile Ground"}},{"insert":" - giving a mono-red commander much needed mana) and on our commander (The Talent Cycle in TMOC). \n\nAmong those cards, "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Teferi's Talent"}},{"insert":" is particularly powerful, allowing us to recharge our commander after he fills our hand. Pairing this with "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Luxior, Giada's Gift"}},{"insert":" can turn our commander into a legitimate threat itself while attacking, filling our hand, and getting stronger all at once. These will not only interact with our opponents, but also dramatically increase the count of Auras on the battlefield for when we are ready to activate our commander's ability. With enough auras in play, we can draw through a huge portion of our deck, digging toward the pump and scaling spells that will ultimately allow our heroes - and perhaps our once-cursed protagonist himself - to deliver the final blow.\n"}]}
