Manlands synergize with it pretty strongly, as well as Chimeric Idol, the creature count is pretty low cause you wanna be hit less possible by the DPO drawback. Despite this, it's a quite classical midrange deck; removals, hand disruption. Bane of the Living is covering at the same time the mass removal role and the threat role, being a serious threat specially if DPO is on the battlefield already. The deck contains a minimum graveyard hate interactions too, in order to deal with the current metagame; Ebony Charm is an unexpected tool which can also be employed to make one of the big pumped by DPO guys unblockable.\nThere is a bit of anti synergy between Chimeric Idol and manlands, that's why I don't run 4 idols, anyway I can say this aspect is quite manageable in my personal experience. I am still testing but the deck seems quite functional and fairly interactive. It struggles pretty hardly against burn strategies, but not so differently than the other mono black decks. The most miserable match up is probably enchantress, which is quite hard to deal with, but despite that it can face quite fairly the most of the meta at it definitely crush out the mono black mirror cause if DPO hits the board you basically just play in another league. \n"}]}
