{"ops":[{"insert":"This idea has been one that has been in my arsenal for a while. I love Field of the Dead, but I wanted to do something more unique with it. Obviously it will create a bunch of zombies, but I wanted to do it in a package not seen too often with it. This is where the twins enter. Simic is known for its dominance with land-style decks. I have never seen Adrix and Nev, Twincasters be used in a land matters deck like this before, so I decided to go all in on lands - specifically on 3.\n\nThe 3 core lands of this deck are:\nField of the Dead\nStrip Mine\nDark Depths\n\nUtilizing the Field of the Dead is the prime strategy and pretty straight forward. There are many cards that will dig or fetch for it. Once it is in play, there are multiple cards that can copy it so you are getting the max out of it. The commander is there to double up on it too! It saves from having to put any doubling enchantments or spells in the deck, plus the twins have ward so it takes more to remove them. The primary goal is to go extremely wide with zombies, give them flying, and then overwhelm your opponents. \n\nStrip Mine is the first alternate strategy. Since mass land destruction is generally frowned upon in casual commander, why not just do singular removal over and over. There are plenty of permanents in the deck that allow us to play lands from the graveyard, and to play more than one land per turn. This is great rage bait too lol. But it is very efficient at keeping multi-colored decks from having a certain colored mana that they need. \n\nThe other alternate strategy is to utilize Dark Depths. There are many copy effects in the deck, so once you have Marit Lage in play, you can start copying it. Having that many 20/20 flying and indestructible creatures in play will be overwhelming. There are multiple effects in the deck to make non-legendary copies or to cancel the legend rule. Remember, the twins will make multiple copies of the token too once you start to copy it. \n\nOverall, the strategies are pretty straightforward. Every card either accelerates or protects the plan. But it is different than how I normally see the Twincasters being played, and a deck that is all in on Field of the Dead is fun for me. Especially in casual since there isn't much land removal, and if there is, then we have plenty of ways of bringing it back from the graveyard. \n\nAnyways, I hope you enjoy 🙃 \n"}]}
