Running our deck on other players turns quadruples the draw, clue and food generation in an average game of commander. This deck is my attempt at a relatively budget solution of that.\n\nThe Fourth Doctor allows us to cast historic spells from the top of the library, but only once per turn. So we need ways to make historic spells castable at instant speed. Luckily there exists a wide pool of flash enabled Bant legends and artifacts. As well as historic ways to give all our stuff flash. One issue we soon run into, is the lack of mana, to cast 4 such spells per round.\n\nThe mana package in this deck revolves around gaining incremental advantage each turn, or each time we cast a spell like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Inspiring Statuary"}},{"insert":". We have several untaps each turn engines, which are easily the most restrictive and expensive part of the deck. For those we layer in a liberal amount of dorks and land control options. Because our value engine is stymied by our lands we weave in several options to unlock the top of our library like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Parcelbeast"}},{"insert":" . Because we always have access to clues with Sarah Jane Smith we can also draw through nonhistoric spells especially with the help of ability rocks like"},{"insert":{"card-link":"The Enigma Jewel // Locus of Enlightenment"}},{"insert":".\n\nThe deck discovers some synergies after this point, cards like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Thousand Moons Smithy // Barracks of the Thousand"}},{"insert":" which becomes a whirlwind of value and massive tokens when we untap and use it multiple times per round.
