We can make any creature on board 5-colour, and when [[Aurora Awakener]] enters the battlefield, we get 5 permanents off the top of the deck. Without [[Tam, Mindful First-Year]], we typically get the Vivid trigger for 3 (our commander's colour identity). It is worth noting that if you cascade into [[Aurora Awakener]], it is entering before [[Maelstrom Wanderer]], and it will not see the colours on Maelstrom.\n Most of the time when we are casting [[Aurora Awakener]], we hit a [[clone]] creature, which enters as Aurora Awakener, and we repeat the process. This can quickly allow you to accumulate such a lead that your opponents can’t catch up. It is also worth mentioning that [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] gives your creatures haste, and at the end of the chain, you will have a massive board that can immediately swing out. \n\n[[Trumpeting Carnosaur]]\nThis is [[Aurora Awakener]] lite. With Discover 5, this can do a very similar thing to [[Aurora Awakener]] and fill a board when we have 13+ clones in the deck that can enter and do another Discover 5.\nBoth [[Aurora Awakener]] and [[Trumpeting Carnosaur]] can have you go from a board state that is small to extremely large out of nowhere. \n\n[[Vaultborn tyrant]]\nAllows us to outvalue our opponents, but in a slightly different way. Vaultborn allows us to gain 3 life if we have a creature with power 4 or greater that enters the battlefield. Each time you clone the [[vaultborn tyrant]], you take the number of [[vaultborn tyrant]] you have and multiply it by the number of creatures entering. So if we had two copies of [[vaultborn tyrant]] in play and were to [[rite of replication]] a vaultborn, we would have 7 copies, see 5 entering, giving us 35 triggers of gaining 3 life and drawing a card. Causing us to gain 105 life and draw 35 cards. The best part of it all is that this is pseudo board wipe-proof. When [[vaultborn tyrant]] dies, it comes back as an artifact token, causing the triggers to happen again. \n\n[[Inferno titan]][[overlord of the boilerbilges]] are all fantastic removal pieces that are great clone targets. With [[Inferno titan]] and [[Overlord of the boilerbilges]] triggering on ETB and Attack. When you have 2-3 of these on the field, it quickly leads to a situation in which you are consistently removing all the important pieces that your opponents have been spending mana on. \n\n[[Wistfulness]]\nIt is an interesting card. Although you can cascade into it and have it do nothing other than be a 6/5 body, the likelihood is low. However, having this card as a clone target allows us to do some interesting things. Say we cast a [[stunt double]] and spend (u)(u)(g)(g), and the clone enters the battlefield as a [[Wistfulness]]. As [[Wistfulness]] enters the battlefield, it will check the mana value spent to cast the card, allowing us to trigger both the:\n* draw 2, discard 1 \nand \n* exile target artifact or enchantment.\n These are extremely useful abilities in Commander, with it being able to remove a [[the one ring]] or other powerful artifact or enchantments permanently. \n\n[[wandering archaic]][[aboleth spawn]]\nDepending on the type of deck your opponent is playing, these can be very powerful effects. Allowing us to match pace with most creature and spellslinger decks. If our opponent pays their taxes, having multiple [[wandering archaic]] can either make it so they can’t cast more than a single spell a turn. If they don’t, we are again getting accumulated value from each spell they cast.\n\n[[Tam, mindful first-year]] also has a nice interaction with [[bloom tender]], where it allows it to tap for 5 mana. Although [[bloom tender]] is not listed as a clone target, it should be considered one if you also have it and Tam out.\n\n[[amphibian downpour]][[imprisoned in the moon]] and [[song of the dryads]] are some of my favourite removal pieces in Magic. They also synergize extremely well with copy effects. Let's say we played either [[imprisoned in the moon]] or [[song of the dryads]] on our opponent's [[sheoldred the apocalypse]], turning it into a land. We can [[crop rotation]] for a [[vesuva]] and make a copy of [[sheoldred, the apocalypse]]. This is because of the way clones work with layers. Vesuva enters the battlefield, and you would target the land that is [[Sheoldred the Apocalypse]]. Clones only copy the copyable values (Layer 1), making a Sheoldred but not as a land. This is because the layers that are changing those characteristics of the Sheoldred are happening on Layers 4,5,6. Similarly, any creature that is enchanted by [[amphibian downpour]] can also be copied by any creature clone we have in the deck for the same reasons listed above.\n\n[[Auton Soldier]][[pirated copy]] \nAre some of the better clones in the deck. Most of the creatures have an ETB ability that can be abused with [[Auton Soldier]]’s myriad abilities. Pairing this with [[Aurora Awakener]] makes us get anywhere from 9 to as many as 15 permanents (not to mention if we hit another clone). Take most of the clone targets, and you will find the value is great. Now, considering the large number of our clone targets having either evasion or trample, [[pirated copy]] can be a way that we continue to get value, as each cloned creature will draw us a card if it deals combat damage.\n\n[[flesh duplicate]][[phyrexian metamorph]][[phantasmal image]][[clever impersonator]]\nThey are some of the cheapest and best clones in the deck. I have intentionally put in this deck high-value mana artifacts such as [[Gilded Lotus]] and [[Thran Dynamo]] because of the ability to clone them with [[phyrexian metamorph]] and [[clever impersonator]] early for a large leap ahead in mana. This is also what makes [[Kiora’s Follower]] and [[Formidable Speaker]] particularly good in this deck. They can untap these artifacts for a good amount of mana. Alternatively, if you find yourself in the situation, you can target [[bloom tender]], which is tapping for 3-5 as discussed above.\n\n[[delayed blast fireball]][[blasphemous act]][[call forth the tempest]]\nThe deck already has lots of interaction and disruption, but I feel it is good to have a few resets. [[delayed blast fireball]] has fortell, which can be useful, but what makes this card stand out is the line of text that says this “if this spell was cast from exile”. This is intended to be an added benefit for casting using the fortell ability; however, [[Maelstrom wanderer]] has cascade, which exiles cards from the top of the library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You can then cast that spell without paying its mana cost. Meaning we cast [[delayed blast fireball]], getting all the benefits of fortell without needing to do it. As for [[Blasphemous act]], well, it's [[Blasphemous act]] the best red board wipe. Finally, we have [[call forth the tempest]]. I love one-sided board wipes. When that one-sided board wipe can also get us value, I think it is a must-add. \n\n[[mirage mirror]]\nThis card is fantastic. In a pinch, we can pay 2 to kill our commander to cast it again to get cascades. We can clone any of our clone targets, or any of our things we have locked our opponents out of with [[amphibian downpour]], [[song of the dryads]], and [[imprisoned in the moon]], etc. It also goes mana positive anytime we clone anything that makes 3 or more mana, like [[fanatic of rhonas]], [[gilded lotus]], [[thran dynamo]] [[bloom tender]] [[somberwald sage]]. Mirage mirror can also become a copy of [[dark depths]] and instantly make a 20/20 [[Marit Lage]]\n\n[[vesuva]] and [[thespian stage]]\nAre copy effects that work fantastically in this deck. Thespian stage can copy any creature we have turned into a land using [[imprisoned in the moon]] or [[song of the dryads]] because of the same layering rules we mentioned above. It will also retain its ability to become a copy of another land. [[vesuva]] is another copy land that can perform the same tricks, but has the added benefit of being able to instantly clone from something like a [[crop rotation]]. Note that if you clone any land that can animate, for example, [[inkmoth nexus]], your clones, like [[phantasmal image]] and [[flesh duplicate]], can clone it. Note this works in the opposite way, where the creatures will enter as lands, allowing for an alternative way to ramp\n\n[[mirrorform]] and [[pirated copy]] this is actually a very interesting interaction. \"Whenever this creature or another creature with the same name deals combat damage to a player, you draw a card.\" is a copyable ability. This makes each nonland permanent you control a copy of whatever pirated copy copied with the draw ability, and the abilities stack. Say we had 5 nonland permanents, including the pirated copy; each creature now has draw 5 on combat damage. \n\n[[marit lage]] note that this is a black creature and can also help with vivid. This is another colour that can be used for [[aurora awakener]] and [[bloom tender]]. It also lets [[selvala, heart of the wilds]] tap for 20\n\n[[inkmoth nexus]] is one of the best creature lands. While a creature, you can clone it with any of the clones in the deck as ramp in a pinch. This card works really well with [[progenitor mimic]] as you can clone the inkmoth and make a token inkmoth each turn. While a creature, you can also clone the mimic again to start double-creating inkmoths. \n\n[[Crop rotation]] really feels like a game changer in this deck. We have many options. We can Vesuva clone any land, or any creature we have turned into a land at instant speed. If we have the other half, we can grab a [[dark depths]] or [[thespian stage]] to make a [[marit lage]]. We can even grab a [[talon gates of madara]] to remove a key creature from play\n\n[[shifting woodlands]] allows us to clone anything in our graveyard. If you have a [[dark depths]] in your graveyard, you can make a [[Marit lage]]\n\n[[temur battlecrier]] reduces all your spells by 1 for each creature you control with power 4 or more. Clone this and your spells are reduced by 4; clone again and 9, etc. Note that this reduction is on all spells and not just your creature spells. \n"}]}

Note this works in the opposite way, where the creatures will enter as lands, allowing for an alternative way to ramp\n\n[[mirrorform]] and [[pirated copy]] this is actually a very interesting interaction. \"Whenever this creature or another creature with the same name deals combat damage to a player, you draw a card.\" is a copyable ability. This makes each nonland permanent you control a copy of whatever pirated copy copied with the draw ability, and the abilities stack. Say we had 5 nonland permanents, including the pirated copy; each creature now has draw 5 on combat damage. \n\n[[marit lage]] note that this is a black creature and can also help with vivid. This is another colour that can be used for [[aurora awakener]] and [[bloom tender]]. It also lets [[selvala, heart of the wilds]] tap for 20\n\n[[inkmoth nexus]] is one of the best creature lands. While a creature, you can clone it with any of the clones in the deck as ramp in a pinch. This card works really well with [[progenitor mimic]] as you can clone the inkmoth and make a token inkmoth each turn. While a creature, you can also clone the mimic again to start double-creating inkmoths. \n\n[[Crop rotation]] really feels like a game changer in this deck. We have many options. We can Vesuva clone any land, or any creature we have turned into a land at instant speed. If we have the other half, we can grab a [[dark depths]] or [[thespian stage]] to make a [[marit lage]]. We can even grab a [[talon gates of madara]] to remove a key creature from play\n\n[[shifting woodlands]] allows us to clone anything in our graveyard. If you have a [[dark depths]] in your graveyard, you can make a [[Marit lage]]\n\n[[temur battlecrier]] reduces all your spells by 1 for each creature you control with power 4 or more. Clone this and your spells are reduced by 4; clone again and 9, etc. Note that this reduction is on all spells and not just your creature spells. \n"}]}
