Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"My idealized version of an out of the box Boros mill deck. Typically Boros, especially Boros artifact decks, play through big turns with powerful artifact creatures or engines involving recycling on-board artifacts for those in grave to win games or knock out players. Instead, this deck looks to leverage repeatable mill and wheel effects to bring everyone on the board down to 0 cards in library as consistently as possible with the tools available. This deck does offer a stronger grind game through the mid to late game that most other mill decks in \"better\" colors typically don't have access to or, trade off for more explosive mill effects and better tutors. The wheel effects serve double duty in this deck as both ways to refill our hand and as ways to get cards out of our opponents deck 7 at a time. Our strongest play involve grindstone and painter's servant, allowing us to instantly K.O. any one player. Although this doesn't appear to be incredibly consistent at first glance, we are really good at filling our graveyard for our commander to utilize either of those artifacts from, and although you usually cant slam both on an early turn without some luck, the amount of recursion, and the few tutors we can run, combos well with the these two for mid game kills at a semi-consistent rate. The deck doesn't solely rely on those two though as we are able to consistently dig through our deck to find consistent wheels to disrupt opponents future game plans as well as fuel our other best in slot mill combo of mindcrank + a draw punish like razorkin needlehead. We hope to maintain enough redundant effects as well as using Osgir to maintain our board state. The biggest weakness in this deck is opposing graveyard decks as we are somewhat limited in our ability to interact with them without hurting our own recursion cards, missing out on white's best in slot hate piece \"Rest in Peace.\" Overall this deck is both fun and consistent although vulnerable to many pieces of interaction and other strategies.\n"}]}
