There, users can browse through requests and leave comments on any they feel they can meaningfully contribute to. While a deck help session is active, it's details and comments are automatically pinned to the left/top (desktop/mobile) of the deck area. If a comment is left on your deck, you'll receive a notification on the bell icon at the top right corner of the page. At the end of the seven days, your deck help session will expire, but if you're still looking for feedback, you can always open another! You can create a Reddit thread or make a post in an appropriate Discord server, but even if you get responses, there's a bit of natural friction that comes from suggestions being left on one platform while the edits you make happen in another. We're aiming to remove that friction by having the requests and feedback all take place right on your deck page. \n\nOn the other end, if you're someone who enjoys helping folks with their brews, it can be difficult to offer valuable feedback when they just drop a deck link onto a social platform without context. By requiring requesters to explain what their decks are trying to do and specifically what they're looking for help with, we're hoping to remove a lot of that guess work. \n\nFor this system to work, we need to strike a good balance of requesters and helpers. We've got some levers to pull on our end if it looks like one is far outpacing the other, but you can help a ton by interacting with both sides of the process. \n\nOther recent updates"},{"attributes":{"header":2},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nOver the past few weeks, we've quietly released a few other site updates that are worth mentioning here.\n\nDeck price data"},{"attributes":{"header":3},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nHovering/tapping on a deck's price now links to an overlay with extremely granular data about the deck's current cost with multiple different vendors (cheapest edition, excluding basics, excluding cards in collection, etc.). We also break down the deck's cost by category and cards within price ranges. The system is absurdly robust, but a simple example is performing a syntax search with the text "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"otag:removal "},{"insert":"appended to whatever else you're searching to limit your results to cards that have been tagged as removal. \n\nWhile performing syntax searches like this has been possible on Archidekt for years, we now also display cards oracle tags! Click on a card in a deck or search, switch to the "},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Oracle tag"},{"insert":" tab, and you'll be presented with all applicable. Each oracle tag is clickable, allowing you to quickly perform a search for other cards with that tag. {"ops":[{"insert":"Really cool updates! Here's a small suggestion for what could come next.\n\nI'd love to see some support for Alchemy mechanics in the playtester. Things like Seek, Perpetual, Conjure, and other digital-only mechanics are pretty awkward to simulate right now when building and playtesting Brawl decks or even theoretical paper Brawl decks (which, yes, I have done 👀).\n\nOne idea would be to add a Seek simulator to both the decklist and the playtester. For example, if I cast Seek New Knowledge, Archidekt could recognize that it says \"seek two nonland cards\" and provide a button I can click that would then randomly reveal and put the appropriate cards from my deck into my hand based on the actual deck contents (for example it seeks Sol Ring and Arcane Signet immediately and puts them in your hand).\n\nHaving those Seek buttons available from the decklist as well would also be great for anyone (me!! 🤓) playing Alchemy cards in paper, since it would provide a quick and accurate way to resolve those effects without needing a separate app or website.\n\nBasically support for mechanics like Seek and Perpetual in the playtester would be awesome. I haven't found another deckbuilding site that handles these mechanics well, and since I already use Archidekt for all my deckbuilding, it would be amazing to have everything in one place.\n\nThanks for reading!\n"}]}

We still may implement what you're asking for because you're absolutely correct. When someone is asking others to take time to look at their deck, if they're being lazy about asking for help, I don't think they really deserve someone taking time out of their day to help them. This feature requires a good amount of balance between commenters and posters to be useful, so we'll continue monitoring and dial it where we can to try to help make sure that the number of requests roughly equals the amount of responses (or ideally more responses). \n\nWhat we'll probably do is let the dust settle a week or so after release, and thumb through the usage analytics, then dial what needs dialing. \n"}]}
