Having found a great use for it (being a dirty, cheating, bastard of a Blue mage 😜), I have come to the realization that 0 Mana rocks and most rituals aren't properly represented by a 0 CMC casting cost. To use the most famous example, Black Lotus costs zero but nets 3 Mana, so its true (or statistical) CMC is -3. To use the most famous ritual example, Dark Ritual costs B, but nets you BBB, so its true CMC is -2.\n\nWhat I'm asking for is to allow CMC to go into the negative to represent the ability of certain artifacts and spells to net mana.\n"}]}
