{"ops":[{"insert":"I understand that when I create a new deck, the default categories are the card types. But why do those categories get put back in my deck when I have later removed or renamed them? It just clutters up the category drop-down list.\n\n\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"The way archidekt was designed was for all cards to require a category. That's been the case aince very close to day one. \n\nBecause cards require categories, even if you remove a creature category, if you add a creature, it'll re-create a creature category. \n\nAt this point restructuring archidekt to work without categories, or \"dummy\" categories would be a fundemental change to the underlying systems. Doing so only really stands to take forever, and likely end up breaking existing systems in one way or another. In other words, while what you're asking for would be nice, actually going back to restructure everything to work that way would more work than it's worth compared to other stuff we're working on. \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Sure, I get that. But why does the system keep adding categories back to my deck even when I haven't added cards? Every time I look at one of my decks it has a \"Sideboard\" category again, even after I deleted it the last time I looked!\n"}]}
