{"ops":[{"insert":"Good Day\n\nToday I spent the day moving my collection over from another website and I came across and issue with the importing where many of the new set cards imported the wrong version of the cards. In most cases it imported them as the showcase/borderless versions instead of the base version of the cards, but I did find some cards where the base version imported instead of the special versions. I did not find a way to specify which version of the card it was outside of maybe a scryfall or multiverse id (I'm not even sure if they would differentiate between the two) which I did not have, but I would have expect it to default to a base version and not a special version and at the very least be consistent.\n\nSince I don't know exactly what was imported I would like to export my collection to cross reference with the file that was imported since there is little to no search functionality for the collection in your system (I do understand that this is in beta, so I don't expect much on that regard). My issue though is your system will not export my collection. I believe the system is just timing out. I have tried multiple times across multiple browsers with multiple computers and I can't export all the columns available. I have been able to export with two columns (Qty and Card Name), three columns (Qty, Card Name, Foil), and four columns (Qty, Card Name, Foil, Condition) but when I go to 5 columns my browser turns for a while then goes back to the Export Screen without adding anything to my downloads. I can go back to four columns and seem to be able to pick any four and thus could splice multiple reports together, but that is a bit ridiculous that your system can't handle something this rudimentary. Exporting my collection with the four columns above is just 307KB. If I splice in the Scryfall ID it \"balloons\" the file all the way up to 717 KB. I can't actually wrap my head around the idea of your system being incapable of dealing with minuscule amount of data. \n\nAnyway. Your forums are also bugged out. When trying to post this on Chrome all the buttons from \"Bold\" to \"Bullet Point\" then \"Link\" and \"Picture\" ... they are ... kinda big and overlapping the text box ... I'll try to post a picture, but it is not showing up correctly on my screen as I am posting this so who knows if it is going to work. Bottom line, it is broken and plz open the New Post of the forums in Chrome to see what it is doing.\n\n"},{"insert":{"image":"https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F8I5bGKU--Rl3IUKfIRSB-YUFbB6B9I4/view"}},{"insert":"\n\n(edit: yup, looks like your image import isn't working either)\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I'm sorry to hear you're having those issues. We are looking into adding collector number as an import option to help with version issues.\n\nAs for the export, if it is a larger collection, it can sometimes cause an issue with the network request timing out before it can complete the file. How many cards are in your collection?\n\nWe will look into the forum issues as well.\n"}]}

Your link to Card Kingdom is not getting the correct prices for the correct versions and a lot of the time it is just coming up as a blank anyway\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I am over 11k unique printings (according to your numbers, but it is hard to make sure everything is in the right place with the export issues). Your system really shouldn't be timing out when trying to create a text file less than a MB. \n\nAnother issue I have come across which is mildly annoying is the Card Search in collection. Most of the time it works fine and as intended. But there are two issues that can occur. \n1) When I search for a card all the editions do not load. Usually this is after I added another card already in that session and the list of editions either didn't change or is half the old cards sets and half the new cards sets. I have to then go and search for something else, then go back to the original card I was trying to add and most of the time that clears it up. \n2) Sometimes when adding a card the Card search works perfectly and I go add or update a record and it doesn't add the card to the collection. Instead it just updates the card I had previously put in before. For example the other day I added in 4 Cruel Sadist from M15 into my collection and it put them in correctly. Then I searched for a Pack Rat and attempted to add 1 Pack Rat from RTR. I hit the Update button and the list refreshed with 8 Cruel Sadist from M15. I have no idea why this is caching the Cruel Sadist in this instance and why it does it sometimes and not others. I have a feeling it is the same type of issue that causes #1 to happen. \n*) I guess bonus thing. Sometimes when use the Card Search to update an entry it doesn't update a record and adds a new one. I usually come to find that this is an issue with the imports I originally did where it added a different version of the card the first time I added it. But the issue I am reporting here is when I go up to the Filter Collection box when I click on that it without me typing anything it is already suggesting the card I just added. This is either great clairvoyance on the part of the system or these two search boxes are linked for some reason which really could be a potential cause for the other two issues.\n\nJust a maybe thing to think about. I'd put the default when added to the collection as Update and not Create. If you Update and there is not already a record it will create one anyway so the Create is a bit redundant. Also many make date created as date updated (or have both I am not one to throw away data). I think most people would want to just see the number of cards they have so they can see 1 record of 4 Clones instead of 4 records of 1 Clones each (assuming they put them in one at a time). While there are defiantly people who would be interested in seeing days an individual card was put into the system for tracking, you do not have nearly enough data points in a record (ie. date obtained, price obtain, how acquired, etc) that I believe it would be useful to those types of people. Plus if you are having trouble with your database not being able to handle large exports, limiting the number of records in your database might be prudent. Just from my persons account searching through potentially 33k records is a lot more taxing than 11k records. Just a thought.\n\nAnd the last thing, forum related. It is IMPOSSIBLE to see the text cursor when typing in this window. I can't easily move it to a different part of the text box because it is a grey cursor against a grey background and the only way I can see where it is is if it overlaps with some letters. I'm guessing this is just a dark theme problem. \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Here is an example of what I am talking about with the adding to collection feature you have.\n\nI just attempted to add two entries: 4 Nebelgast Herald and then 1 Necrogenesis. I put the Nebelgast Herald into the system without issue. I then attempt to add the Necrogenesis I go to the drop down menu to select the set for Necrogenesis and I am presented with three options Commander 2011, Jump Start, and Eldritch Moon. \n\nThis. Is. Wrong. \n\nNecrogenesis is in Commander 2011, but the other sets it is in are Shards of Alara, Modern Masters 2015, and Commander 2016 NOT Jump Start or Eldritch Moon. In fact those tow sets are the two sets that Nebelgast Herald are in. For some reason the sets for Nebelgast Herald are being cached here and added to I assume the default set for Necrogenesis to make this list. \n\nhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/15zO8wLmba7-hJnxiRi727gDpBzI11d4E/view\n\nI added a Necrogenesis as CMD 2011 and it did add a new record for that card, however something I have not brought up yet: Changing the set of an entry is damned near impossible as all I get is the element spinning and spinning if I attempt to do so. The only recourse I have ever found is to just delete the original entry and make a new one. Extremely annoying when you consider the original import errors the system made and the hundreds of potential bad entries I need to fix. If I go back and try to add another Necrogenesis I am still presented with the three options above, and if I attempt to add another Jumpstart version it just added to the Nebelgast Herald entry showing that yes somehow searching for 1 card is in fact combing two totally unique things. \n\nThe only way to fix this issue it to search for something other than Necrogenesis and hope when I try to go back that it doesn't then do the same damned thing.\n"}]}
