Update to primers and preferred printing?

{"ops":[{"insert":"I think one of the main things that would be nice to see is some form of primer button moved to the top bar in decks near their bracket and other info, or some for of drop down for descriptions. Unsure how likely that is but I was curious if that may ever occur. I know developers had also commented on preferred printing not being done as it would slow down card search but I think it could be possible if the preferred printing were somehow catalogued to that user and once cards were already added a button to update to the users preferred printing could be used to update them all. These are just features I think would be helpful and was curious if anyone had similar ideas to share or if these sound plausible.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I'm not entirely sure I follow what you're talking about regarding primers. If you could elaborate there, I'd appreciate it. \n\nAs for the preferred printings things. We've considered adding a feature where a user could pre-pick their preferrerd printings, then we could build it into the optimize deck options to swap out version to those preferred printings. But to be honest with you, I kinda hate that. It's a convoluted system that's working around a problem (slowing down card search) that most users just won't understand. So we'd be building a system that's not likely to be used by a ton of people, that we know is bad. I'm not saying "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"never"},{"insert":" on doing that, but it doesn't excite me give how convoluted it'd end up being.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I can understand that truly the only way I could think of that would allow for preferred printings was by adding it through some means after card searching and building was done as to not impact speed but as you said that would be convoluted and may not see much usage. The idea you posed is another decent idea but I understand what you mean as its just working around the problem as well.\n\nAs for primers what I mean is currently if I put a primer within a deck, and it is decently lengthy or anything a sidebar is applied when opening the deck that shrinks the deck to the right side and lengthens the page massively. I was wondering how plausible moving things for easier UI would be in regards to them, like by default deck description are at the bottom and primers if one is made to load automatically. Could it be possible that when viewing a deck up in its basic details, such as bracket, name, tags and so forth a button could be added to separately launch primers? It could again be working around a problem but I think it would help drastically with visual clutter when one is present and things like descriptions being disregarded due to their position in the deck page. Descriptions as well being at the bottom I also wonder if there are plans to sort of maneuver that UI.\n"}]}
