{"ops":[{"insert":"Hello!\n\nCurrently, even if card UI changes were made, the \"switch card printings\" menu shows printings with their default appearance. So, for example, even if the foil layer is disabled, the printings on the \"select a printing\" screen will still display the foil layer. Once you add the card to the deck, it loses its foil layer, but I'd prefer the card UI settings to be uniformly applied between menus!\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I'm pretty sure the only reason the select a printing screen would show a card as being foil is if that's the only option for that card, no? Can I get an example of a card & edition you're not seeing that for please.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Woah, that was fast!\n\nThis is actually something that changed with the card UI update. I had \"disable foil layer\" set on my Archidekt account, and with that option on, I could force cards to appear nonfoil even if that specific printing was foil-only - and that applied on the \"Switch card printing\" screen as well. An example is "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Massacre Wurm"}},{"insert":" from Foundations. Currently, it appears nonfoil if it's in my deck and I disable the foil layer in card UI settings, but on the \"Select printing\" screen, it appears foil.\n\nAnother example is some Doctor Who cards, like "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Into the Time Vortex"}},{"insert":". Its 88 collector number printing is nonfoil, and its 693 printing is foil, but when I had the \"disable foil layer\" option on pre-update, both appeared nonfoil on the \"switch card printing\" screen. Currently, with the foil layer disabled in card UI, the card shows as nonfoil in my deck regardless of the printing I use, but on the \"switch card printing\" screen, one version is foil and one is not - which is true to reality, but different from how the function works when I'm not viewing that specific screen.\n\nBasically, in my actual deck, \"disable foil layer\" correctly forces all cards to appear nonfoil, but on the \"Switch card printing\" screen, foil cards still appear foil. This wasn't the case pre-update; I was using that function pre-update and cards on the \"Switch card printing\" screen appeared nonfoil.\n"}]}
