One day his beloved friend Quintorius, proposes that Rocco would join their crew of misfits on Ixalan. Rocco is intrigued by the opportunity to explore the dinosaur infested plane and joins the patty. Rocco and the others form an instant bond. After spending a long evening of feasting together, they decide to go on an extempore treasure hunt and head down to the plane's hollow core. There they find the biggest load of treasure anyone has ever seen on Ixalan. Before claiming it to themselves, the misfits are ambushed by fearsome dinosaurs. A gruesome battle ensues, which Rocco and the rest of the crew barely escape with their lives. They were different from the rest though, they faced one another and crackled with static lightning. Rocco was not one to back away from any challenge and to be quite frank they were more intrigued by the potential upside than worried about any negative consequences when it came to the Omenpaths. They had brought Rocco nothing but great fortune thus far and Rocco had begun believing that their fates were intertwined. They walked through one of the portals only to arrive to a hectic scene."},{"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"Critters of all kinds running past them and screams of fear all around whilst jolts of lightning crackled above. And amidst the lightning Rocco caught a glimpse of the obvious reason for the commotion. An enormous four-winged hawk with lightning bursting from its peak like fire. "},{"attributes":{"color":"var(--color)","background":"var(--light-background)","italic":true},"insert":"The Omenpath had grown in size behind Rocco, but their widened eyes were fixated on the fascinating creature soaring above. Some of the smaller critters and a large badger with battle gear had formed a party to take a stance against the fearsome calamity. With a sudden burst of speed the hawk dove down and blew right through them sending the critters in every direction. It continued it's momentum straight towards Rocco, who reacted in the nick of time, sprung their legs and leaped out of the harm's way. To Rocco's surprise they had jumped unnaturally high and straight upwards. After leaving the critter-plane on a dragon's back, Rocco had settled in on the giant creature's massive body and attuned to its ever-moving surface. The creature had a natural gravitational pull and a magical allure to it that had enveloped Rocco and prevented them from sliding off its back. Besides, it was a tireless flyer navigating through numerous Omenpaths into planes previously unfamiliar to Rocco. It continued it's momentum straight towards Rocco, who reacted in the nick of time, sprung their legs and leaped out of the harm's way. To Rocco's surprise they had jumped unnaturally high and straight upwards. Besides, it was a tireless flyer navigating through numerous Omenpaths into planes previously unfamiliar to Rocco. Wherever they travelled, more dragons were spawning seemingly out of nowhere and forming large bellowing storms and vortexes of scaled collective bodies in motion. One simply does not behold such a tremendous force and become unaffected.
