Split second (As long as this spell is on the stack, players can't cast spells or activate abilities that aren't mana abilities.)
You can't lose the game this turn and your opponents can't win the game this turn. Until end of turn, damage that would reduce your life total to less than 1 reduces it to 1 instead.

{"ops":[{"insert":"There are a few win conditions this deck is capable of. They are all possible on turn three, probable on turn four, and something is going wrong if not done by turn five or six.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Win Condition 1"},{"insert":"\nThe primary win condition of this deck is casting these three cards as soon as possible:\nSliver Queen"},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Lavabelly Sliver - or - Impact Tremors - or - Altar of the Brood"},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Basal Sliver - or - Ashnod's Altar"},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Once Basal Sliver or Ashnod's Altar are out, you can sacrifice any other sliver (or creature in the case of Ashnod's Altar) to generate two mana (either black or colorless) and create a 1/1 colorless sliver token with Sliver Queen, which will trigger Lavabelly's or Impact Tremor's ETB effect. Then sacrifice that token and repeat until every opponent is dead.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Win Condition 2"},{"insert":"\nThis secondary win condition involves generating infinite mana with Mana Echoes. Since it does not generate colored mana, it's difficult to cast slivers with it, but what you can do with the generic mana is use Sliver Overlord to tutor and cast Morophon, the Boundless. Once he is cast, the colored mana cost if your slivers is eliminated and you can then tutor and cast the creatures mentioned in Win Condition 1. Alternatively, for a combat-based win, you could tutor out Cloudshredder Sliver, Sliver Legion, and any other slivers necessary in order to swing lethal damage against your opponents.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Win Condition 3"},{"insert":"\nThis win condition involves generating infinite mana with Intruder Alarm. If you have any mana dorks (Noble Hierarch, Faeburrow Elder, Birds of Paradise) or mana-generating slivers (Gemhide or Manaweft) along with Intruder alarm, you will probably be able to use Overlord's ability to tutor and cast just about anything. Tutor Cloudshredder first for haste so each subsequent sliver can tap for mana. Also make sure to tap any untapped creatures for mana and float it before triggering Intruder Alarm's ETB effect; otherwise it's just lost mana. If you tutor and cast Sliver Queen, you will be able to create a sliver token for 2 generic, which will untap all your other creatures, and then repeat infinitely. Similar to Win Condition 2, you can then use your infinite mana to initiate Win Condition 1 or swing out with lethal combat damage.\n\n"},{"attributes":{"bold":true},"insert":"Win Condition 4"},{"insert":"\nIf your opponents are wise to your shenanigans and manage to remove or counterspell part of your infinite, there's always combat. Slivers gonna sliver. Get out legion and as many other slivers as possible and swing out as hard as you can. If it means only taking down one opponent at a time, so be it.\n\nUseful notes and other combos:\nTraining grounds and Biomancer's Familiar reduce both of Sliver Overlord's abilities and Sliver Queen's ability to 1 generic mana. Getting those out early significantly reduces the necessary mana needed to pop off."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Lotus Cobra + fetch lands = three mana. Turn one or two Cobra means a turn two or three Overlord if you have a fetch."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"If one of the three slivers necessary for your infinite end up in the graveyard from removal or a counterspell, just tutor out Dregscape Sliver. Its ability will only bring the necessary piece back for that turn, though, so make sure you can pop off immediately."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":" Hibernation Sliver can be a game-winner in more ways than one. You can cast it, return it to hand, and then recast it repeatedly to gain mana from Mana Echoes or Intruder Alarm. Alternatively, you can keep it on the field in the event of a mass board wipe. You might lose some life doing it, but keeping key combo pieces in your hand instead of the graveyard or exile is preferable. "},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Don't be afraid to discard something like Sliver Legion to Chrome Mox. 99% of the time you're going for a non-combat win and the extra mana early is much more useful to that end than a high-CMC creature hanging out in your hand."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Don't be afraid to take a significant amount of damage from Lim'Dul's Vault. If getting to your combo pieces earlier costs some life, that's fine. Life is a resource and winning at 1 is the same as winning at 100."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"This should go without saying, but Smothering Tithe on turn one or two is absolutely broken. If you luck into an opening hand with two mana rocks, a land, and Tithe, you pretty much have the game wrapped up."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"If you're playing with a group that doesn't have much interaction, feel free to sub out protection, counter, and/or removal spells for other win conditions. Bonescythe Sliver will give double strike and make combat win conditions easier. Shifting and Shadow Sliver will make your army unblockable. Magma Sliver will make it possible for a Volton-esque win by pumping Overlod. Virulent Sliver will make slivers poisonous; an especially fun time if they have double strike. There are so many ways to make slivers work."},{"attributes":{"list":"ordered"},"insert":"\n"}]}
