It becomes an easy target right after he touches the board, so if you can, try to leave some blue lands untapped to give at least the idea you could counter an eventual removal.\nGandalf synergizes at his best with the ETB abilities, cause they are triggered also by the copies, and with the passive abilities that persist as long as the card is on the battlefield.
