Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"In Magic lore, there was one true \"King of the Goblins\": Eron the Relentless, the immortal thief of Ulgrotha. As the story goes, a wizard cast a spell of immortality on Eron in exchange for stealing a spellbook, Eron had some wild adventures with his newfound ability to perpetually regenerate, and then he eventually went to the goblins of Koskun Keep and told them that he was now their king. They killed him ... but then Eron got up and told them, again, that he was their king. So they killed him, again ... but when Eron came back and told them for the third time that, no, seriously, he really was their king, they gave up and accepted his claim.\n\nThis retro-framed deck combines two classic-but-rarely-combined archtypes: Voltron and tokens. Half of the deck is dedicated to pumping up Eron for fast and lethal commander damage, while the other half is all about going wide with his army of goblin minions. Cards like Bravado, Betrothed of Fire, and Mob Mentality help provide an intersection between the archtypes, while Eron's regenerating abilities are put on hilarious display with cards like Goblin Sappers to dig him a tunnel that would be lethal for anybody else, or Mogg Cannon to quite literally "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"shoot him out of a cannon"},{"insert":" at your opponents. Best of all: it's a goblin deck that doesn't have Krenko as the commander! (although he might sneak out later...)\n\nThis is a 30-year evolution of the first theme deck I ever built back in 1995, so it holds a very special place in my heart. I hope you enjoy it, too!\n"}]}
