Lavinia is different from other Azorius Clue commanders in that she doesn't really care about creatures - be it herself or others - but rather she just wants us to cast cheap spells at least twice a turn. Together, these abilities give her the feel of a \"play the game on everyone's turn\" control commander with a Clue/Artifact/Token subtheme.\n\nTo this end, this deck runs a lot of 1 and 2 MV instants that let you draw a card - such as "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Consider"}},{"insert":" - to trigger her Investigate ability as often as possible. Well, we have a surprising amount of options in that regard, mostly thanks to the sheer number of artifacts we will have on our battlefield. I especially love putting Mechanized Production on an Artifact Land such as "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Darksteel Citadel"}},{"insert":" in order to slowly ramp, avoid artifact removal and still potentially win off of Clue tokens.\n\nTo support this game plan, we run a small suite of counterspells, bounce or tap effects, spot removal and two board wipes to clear out problematic cards. We also run a full 20 ramp cards - including our commander - to generate enough mana to keep casting spells and cracking Clues for as long as possible.\n\nWith Lavinia on the scene, our opponents' crimes will not stay hidden for long, and once all of the Clues have been discovered Ravnica will be one step closer to Azor's perfect order.\n"}]}
