Description
{"ops":[{"insert":"Hey everyone :)\n\nThis deck is my take on a Teysa Tokens/Aristocrats deck. It aims to be "},{"attributes":{"italic":true},"insert":"a fair"},{"insert":" deck in the sense that it focuses more on the token strategy rather than combo, and while it uses infinite combos as finishers it doesn't combo on turn 1-5 like a cedh deck, it actually shines particularly well in grindy games and is very resilient. In my playgroup it is considered to be my most threatening deck, and I'll admit that it has a soft spot in my heart.\n\nThe strategy early game (other than draw and \"ramp\") is usually to try and generate black tokens as soon as possible and get a sacrifice engine going on. With our commander this will give us double value on all instances of sacrifice. Our commander is an incredible, almost self-sufficient engine with the proper set-up, giving access to instant-speed-exile which we can use to control opponents.\n\nGiven Orzhov's known difficulty for draw, ramp, or interaction, the deck's mid-game will be spent creating engines that will create a consistently growing board, made more resilient by our commander, which will then fuel sacrifice engine to generate other tokens, draw, or mana.\n\nKey pieces from the deck are then used to push those engines to a point where they allow us to win the game (those include cards such as Darkest Hour, Blood Artist, Blasting Station and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobyte).\n\nThe deck also runs a small reanimation subtheme, only because individually those pieces support the strategy of the deck and/or double up as pieces that can be used in infinite loops.\n"}]}
